Job summary

Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking a Logistics and Transportation Manager to join the Supply Chain, Distribution & Logistics team. This onsite role is based in Mesquite, TX or Walnut Creek, CA and focuses on utility-scale projects, cost control, and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Warehousing/Logistics Management equivalent working experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in logistics, distribution, material handling, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong SAP/data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP/MIS systems and carrier management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage logistics for large utility-scale projects with focus on timelines and cost control.
• Coordinate with Planning and Manufacturing to align shipment plans and assess risks.
• Communicate with facilities for material allocations and daily operations.
• Lead the logistics team and foster a collaborative environment.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide best-in-class service.
• Analyze KPIs of vendors to optimize process, service, and contracts.
• Review orders and contracts in CRM; support audits and cost data requests.
