Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is hiring a Logistics and Transportation Manager in Mesquite, TX / Walnut Creek, CA. You will lead logistics for utility-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost control while aligning with planning, manufacturing, and accounts teams.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics, strong project management, SAP/data analysis skills, and ability to travel 10-15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in warehousing/logistics or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years in logistics, distribution, material handling, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with SAP and data analysis/reporting required.
• Strong project/program management and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel 10-15% and work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage logistics for large utility-scale projects, ensuring timelines, risks, and costs are controlled.
• Coordinate with Planning and Manufacturing to align shipment plans and risks.
• Manage communications with facilities for material allocations and daily operations.
• Analyze and input logistics cost per watt data into CRM; compare actuals vs forecasts.
• Host regular client-facing calls and provide updates on deliveries and exceptions.
• Review and approve orders and contracts in Dynamics CRM; support audits with Finance.
