Collins Aerospace is seeking a Material Handler to perform inventory control and receiving tasks in a SAP environment. Shift is Monday–Friday from 6:30AM to 3:00PM with overtime and weekend work as needed; onsite in Foley, AL.

You will count parts, process SAP transactions, manage non-conforming material, and support lean initiatives including 5S. Requires HS Diploma, 4+ years of experience, SAP/ERP familiarity, and ability to lift 40 lbs. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Inventory Management and SAP/ERP systems.
• Able to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle certification.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS training/certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify parts, receive inbound material in SAP, and note discrepancies.

Collins Aerospace is seeking hire a Material Handler to perform a variety of manual and administrative tasks associated with inventory control and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures. You will receive, verify and post inventory into the SAP system.

Position is Onsite: Shift schedule is Monday – Friday from 6:30AM – 3:00PM with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Working Environment: Work is performed in a receiving warehouse and outside dock requiring the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs, stand in position at times up to a minimum of 8 hours per day and working outdoors in the elements as needed.

What You Will Do

• Count and verify parts against supplier packing slips and review for damage.
• Receive inbound material in SAP and note any discrepancies.
• Manage non-conforming material via grief line and coordinate with supply chain to resolve.
• Storage/warehousing of material using powered industrial vehicles.
• Perform SAP transactions for goods movements.
• Maintain awareness of production rates and part requirements.
• Use powered hand tools to open crates and verify & load crated materials.
• Manage Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) material via SAP & Microsoft Excel.
• Conduct research in ERP systems to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Use lean manufacturing tools to improve processes.
• Engage in 5S activities and ensure a FOD free inventory environment.
• Use MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook/Teams) for Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications/Experience Needed

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs, stand in position at times up to a minimum of 8 hours per day and working outdoors in the elements as needed.
• Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with Inventory Management.
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle certification.
• SAP/ERP or other inventory management systems experience.
• Continuous Improvement experience: Lean, Six Sigma, CORE and/or ACE APICS CPIM or CLTD training/certification.
• Cycle counting experience.
• Bachelor's degree.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
