Job summary

RXO, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Logistics to oversee daily transportation operations, coordinate drivers and equipment, and resolve operational issues with precision.

You will enter data into the transportation management system, generate required reports, audit documentation, monitor coding practices, and proactively communicate with customers and management to ensure shipments meet all requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of transportation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
• Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of shipping software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clean, organized data for audiences.
• Ability to perform complex data analysis and provide clear interpretations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, resolve and/or call out operational oddities.
• Schedule, coordinate and monitor drivers and equipment to ensure daily transportation operations run safely, efficiently and on time.
• Assist in development, planning and modification of daily schedules; notify customer service and the operations manager about shipment status.
• Correctly troubleshoot and proactively resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Proactively communicate with customers, employees and management to ensure necessary requirements are met.
• Enter data into the transportation management system; maintain and generate required reports.
• Process, audit and file various documentation.
• Monitor and ensure proper coding; elevate as needed.
• Maintain statement of work audit schedule and distribute updates to team.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Investigate, resolve and/or call out operational oddities

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• 2 years of transportation experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics Management
• Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of shipping software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
• The capability to perform complex analysis of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations of data/information
