Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a senior Logistics Portfolio Manager to lead the transportation strategy, sourcing, governance, and execution across a portfolio of domestic and international projects. You will guide Project Logistics Managers and specialists, drive budget planning, risk assessments, and tender activity, and ensure seamless ITO-to-OTR transitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering, business, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Project Logistics Managers, Logistics Specialists, and Logistics Coordinators across the portfolio.
• Manage performance, workload, priorities, and resource allocation for the logistics organization.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and succession planning for direct-report personnel.
• Set portfolio priorities and ensure logistics support across the project lifecycle.
• Monitor capacity and address resource constraints and capability gaps.
• Establish governance, escalation protocols, and performance expectations for the portfolio.
• Oversee transportation procurement activities including RFQ development and supplier evaluation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with customer and project objectives.
• Ensure smooth ITO-to-OTR transition and execution readiness across projects.
• Monitor costs, schedules, risk, and supplier performance at portfolio level.
• Lead or support risk management and corrective actions for logistics activities.
