Job summary

WCL Group is seeking a Senior Logistics Optimization Specialist to lead a program of projects and optimization efforts in Offshore Logistics Operations for GOA assets. The role focuses on driving process and cost efficiency and coordinating with cross-functional teams in a Fortune 100 oil and gas environment.

Responsibilities include KPI development, data-driven improvement, and acting as product owner for GOA initiatives with the Logistics COE, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and scalable

Qualifications

• 10+ years related experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong ability to identify, source and analyze data to make data-driven process improvements.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience
• Significant experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI – preferably building PowerBI dashboards.
• Costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

• Work with Logistics COE to ensure alignment and highlight scalable efforts.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance and business stakeholders to develop and maintain efficient, transparent and compliant cost allocation methodologies.

POSITION OVERVIEW – Senior Logistics Optimization Specialist

Lead program of projects and optimization efforts to drive process and cost efficiency in Offshore Logistics Operations in Client’s Gulf of America (GOA) asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, testing practical solutions, and refining processes based on lessons learned and stakeholder feedback.


• Translate benchmarking data to actionable improvements.


• Manage KPI development, reporting, and data-driven opportunity identification.


• Serve as GOA Product Owner for Kabal, working with the Logistics Center of Excellence (COE) to define product vision and value proposition, review and prioritize product backlog, and engage stakeholders and serve as voice of the customer for GOA.


• Identify and work as needed with SCM Digital Platform and Data & Insights Delivery Teams to develop digital tools to support optimization.


• Work with Logistics COE to ensure alignment and highlight scalable efforts.
