The Air Force District of Washington, headquartered at Joint Base Andrews, MD, seeks a Chief of Logistics Division (A4L) to lead logistics planning, directing, and controlling both supervisory and non-supervisory staff.

This senior civilian position requires mastery of cargo and passenger movement, supply chain management, deployment planning, and logistics policy development for peacetime and contingency operations.

Qualificações

• Mastery knowledge of cargo and passenger movement, supply chain management, equipment and vehicles management, warehousing, deployment planning and operations.
• Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to plan, organize, direct functions and supervise staff through subordinate supervisors.
• Ability to analyze, plan and adjust work operations to meet program requirements within resources.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, organize and supervise logistics functions for HQ AFDW.
• Mentor and appraise staff performance; manage subordinate supervisors.
• Develop policies and procedures for HQ AFDW units and customers.
• Ensure readiness for peacetime and contingency/wartime operations.
