Job summary

Leidos in the AFNCR ITS program seeks a Deputy Logistics and Inventory Operations Manager at Joint Base Bolling, MD. You will help oversee IT asset management, warehouse operations, and lifecycle execution across multi-site facilities, ensuring accountability and compliance with DoD requirements.

You will supervise warehouse activities, coordinate logistics, and drive process improvements while maintaining audit-ready spaces and accurate asset tracking in approved systems of record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Logistics or related field with 5+ years’ experience or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Minimum of 8 years of IT operations, logistics, warehouse or asset management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years leading teams in IT/logistics or federal contract environments.
• Experience with ITSM platforms, CMDBs, ticketing and asset tracking tools.
• Strong ITIL-based service delivery, reporting, and customer support processes.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions and enterprise communications.
• Strong project management, leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AFNCR logistics, warehouse and IT asset management operations, including movement, storage, delivery and lifecycle execution.
• Act as day-to-day deputy for warehouse and inventory activities, coordinating priorities and service delivery.
• Lead IT asset management across hardware, software, refresh, field operations and customer fulfillment.
• Maintain accountability for 100,000+ accountable configuration items across the IT environment.
• Supervise receiving, inventory control, stocking, staging, packing, shipping, delivery prep and disposition support.
• Ensure stock levels and asset handling comply with contract requirements and procedures.
• Maintain warehouse spaces, docking areas and secure, audit-ready storage environments.
• Enforce warehouse safety, chain-of-custody, documentation and customer handoff procedures; propose corrective actions.
• Track IT assets in approved systems of record (CMDB) and reconcile with government accountability systems.
• Coordinate annual inventory across units, locations and field environments.
• Support reconciliation with government systems (DPAS, CMDB, ITSM) and software asset management.
• Prepare status updates, operational reports and executive-level inputs for leadership.
• Monitor performance against metrics and service delivery expectations; identify risks and mitigation actions.
• Lead improvement initiatives in logistics, inventory and deployment aligning with program goals.
