Job summary

Google is seeking a senior leader to optimize daily logistics operations across data centers and warehouses in the United States. You will own third‑party vendor performance, drive continuous process improvements, and standardize documentation while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You may share your preferred locations: Midlothian, TX; Austin, TX; Houston, TX. You will analyze operational impacts, develop business cases, manage budgets, and communicate with leadership to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain environments managing vendors or 3PL groups.
• 7 years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams.
• 5 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting logistics operations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day logistics operations management, manage third-party logistics vendor operating warehouse and data centers in assigned locations.
• Manage metrics for key performance indicators, vendor scorecards, and development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times.
• Engage with Google stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and joint opportunities to scale the business efficiently.
• Drive continuous opportunity initiatives to address obstacles for both forward and reverse material flows into and out of data centers/warehouses.
