Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Share Area Manager for Logistics Operations in Texas and surrounding locations. You will lead daily logistics operations, manage 3PL vendors, optimize processes, and drive cross-team coordination to improve delivery performance.

The role emphasizes supervising cross-regional teams, budgeting, and stakeholder collaboration to scale operations and enhance efficiency across Google Cloud logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain environments managing vendors (e.g., suppliers, manufacturers) or third-party logistics (3PL) groups.
• 7 years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams.
• 5 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting logistics operations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as required.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day logistics operations management across locations and data centers.
• Manage third-party logistics vendor operations to meet SLAs and promote business continuity.
• Track KPIs, vendor performance scorecards, and develop business cases for changes or improvements.
• Lead budgeting, invoicing, and capital projects within your locations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times.

In this role, you will be the leader of how Google optimizes daily logistics processes while incorporating current industry standards and best practices. You will be responsible for driving continuous process improvement recommendations, managing the implementation of changes within operations, standardizing user documentation, creating processes that motivate action, and interacting with all partner teams. You will initiate and oversee operational improvement efforts for Google Cloud Logistics, analyze operational impacts to inform improvements, work with key stakeholders, motivate innovation within the operational teams, and create presentations or documents for the leadership team highlighting operational performance and improvements. • Own the day-to-day logistics operations management, manage third-party logistics vendor operating warehouse and data centers in assigned locations. Ensure performance to the aligned Service Level Agreements (SLA), promoting business continuity, with participation in Program Management activities.
• Manage metrics for key performance indicators, vendor performance scorecards, and development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements. Drive alignment and prioritization of initiatives in a fluid environment with many interdependencies. Take ownership of quarterly/annual budgeting, invoice control, and capital improvement projects within your locations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times.
• Engage with Google stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and joint opportunities to scale the business efficiently.
• Drive continuous opportunity initiatives to address obstacles for both forward and reverse material flows into and out of data centers/warehouses.
