Amentum is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Analyst to support acquisition logistics and lifecycle management for US Navy programs, including combat and weapons control systems. The role involves program management support, financial tracking, and process improvement across in-service and new construction ships.

The position starts on-site in Washington, DC, then transitions to a hybrid schedule (2–3 days on-site).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of Acquisition Logistics experience.
• 5+ years Navy Program Management experience (NAVSEA/Submarines preferred).
• Ability to develop spend plans.
• Active Secret clearance (US citizenship required).
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, and MS Word.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Able to work in-person at Washington, D.C. WNY.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial trackers, participate in meetings, and monitor cost and schedule impacts.
• Consolidate comments and evaluate briefs, naval messages, and ensure Logistics Products and ILS Certification progress are tracking to on-time completion.
• Hybrid on-site attendance is required.

Job description

Amentum has an opening for a Senior Logistics Management Analyst.This program ensures proper development and acquisition of the combat and weapons control systems for both in-service and new construction ships. The Senior Logistics Management Analyst will be responsible for overarching program management support; administrative functions; program-level support regarding in-service logistics, modernization, and life cycle support; overarching programmatic financial management; implementation of business process improvement; developing senior-level financial or logistical briefings; tracking, providing status updates, and processing a wide variety of tasks to completion; identifying and correcting data errors, and providing recommended solutions.

This role is a HYBRID role, employees will start out on-site and then transition into a hybrid schedule of 2-3 times per week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with various stakeholders, maintaining an action tracker to ensure tasks are completed correctly, comprehensively, and on time.
• Maintenance of financial trackers, participation in various meetings, and assisting with the monitoring of cost and schedule impacts.
• Additional responsibilities include the consolidation of comments and the evaluation of briefs, reports, naval messages, and validating that Logistics Products and overall ILS Certification progress are tracking to on-time completion via coordinating across multiple other programs and organizations.
• In-office attendance is required on a hybrid basis.

NOTE

All support contractors are required to be available/provide coverage when their Government lead/client is out of the office. They should at the maximum extent possible be in the office when the Government POC is unavailable.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent and 8+ years of experience with Acquisition Logistics.
• 5+ years of experience with Navy Program Management (NAVSEA, Submarines Preferred)
• Ability to develop spend plans
• Must have an Active Secret clearance, please note US citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
• Ability to develop/document/implement new processes
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, and MS Word
• Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team environment
• Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work in-person at the Washington, D.C. WNY

Additional Qualifications

• NAVSEA and/or Team Submarine experience
• Understanding of DOW Integrated Product Support Elements and their implementation
• Familiarization with and possessing the ability to update and maintain programmatic ILS documentation associated with Integrated Logistics Assessments (ex. LCSP, CM, NTSP, IUID, DMSMS Plans, etc.)
• Experience working with various Navy Logistics entities such as NAVSUP, Naval Undersea Warfare Centers and collaboration with multiple Program Offices and vendors
• Ability to review installation drawings, Engineering Change Instructions and Ship Alterations for configuration accountability

Compensation Details

$75,000-$125,000
