Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead and optimize equipment logistics across the metro area. You will supervise a team of dispatchers and drivers, ensure on-time delivery, and drive cost-efficient operations while aligning with corporate logistics initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of extensive logistics and leadership experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and RentalMan for logistics tracking and analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a logistics team to deliver world-class service.
• Develop staffing, coaching and training for dispatchers and drivers.
• Ensure compliance with labor agreements and safety policies.
• Manage performance of direct staff and functional managers.
• Recruit and retain top talent across diverse, skilled candidates.
• Drive safety culture, accountability and effective communication.
• Oversee logistics execution and staffing strategy for the metro area.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
