Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Distribution & Logistics Specialist in Apopka, FL. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining strong customer communications to meet manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities include forklift operations, demand planning input, and cross-functional collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in a warehousing/distribution environment (food/bev/pharma preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years equivalent work experience; qualification in Logistics/transportation preferred.
• Knowledge of INCOTERM and GHS requirements; ADR knowledge preferred.
• Experience in traffic coordination and transport scheduling; English and Spanish proficiency beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and liaise with operations teams to ensure timely collection and delivery of shipments at the Apopka logistics center.
• Prepare shipping documentation and dangerous goods documentation per regulations.
• Operate forklifts (sit-down and turret) on a daily basis.
• Consult with customers and suppliers to improve performance, products, and services.
• Analyze historical data, forecasts, and market performance to inform demand planning.
• Review warehouse orders considering equipment capability and capacity; manage customer issues and corrective actions.
• Interface with customers, forwarders, brokers, planners, operations, and QA.
• Gather and analyze procurement metrics; support company programs and culture.
