Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator in Chandler, AZ to manage client orders, coordinate with drivers and customers, and keep pickup and delivery on schedule. The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will interact with operations, billing and carriers, register orders in-house systems, and provide professional service across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• College degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, a related field or experience in lieu of education.
• 4 years' industry experience in a Dispatch or related role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and communicates expectations to the hauling department and/or local operations.
• Tracks and communicates information related to customer cargo and resolves problems.
• Coordinates with operations & billing to ensure orders are complete and accurate in multiple systems.
• Registers orders using in-house systems, van line application, and Movers Suite.
• Processes paperwork for each order (worksheets, quotes, bills of lading, inventories).
• Monitors progress of every customer order.
• Determines services and equipment needs and communicates details to teams and drivers.
• Manages specific accounts and interfaces with customers on orders and changes.
• Delivers consistent, professional communication to customers.
• Uses internet, email, and phone to schedule activities.
• Provides coverage for coworkers when needed.
• Calls other agents for local job assistance across the US.
• Escalates issues to management when appropriate.
• Performs other duties as required.
