Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager to lead transportation, logistics, scheduling, and distribution across multiple facilities. The role provides strategic leadership to a team of three managers and aims for best-in-class cost, service, safety, and shipment execution.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams, drive improvements, and manage budgets and KPIs. Will travel within US and Canada as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary school.
• Experience in logistics preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to travel when required for training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize transportation, logistics, scheduling, and distribution across multiple facilities.
• Provide strategic leadership to a team of three Regional Logistics Managers.
• Deliver best-in-class performance in cost, service, safety, and shipment execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to meet customer commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement, network optimization, carrier strategy, and operational excellence.
• Create and maintain departmental reporting including freight budgets, KPIs, and scorecards.
• Coordinate with Directors to ensure carrier strategies are executed at the Dispatcher level.
• Travel within the US and Canada as required.
