Jobot is seeking a Permanent Controller in the Logistics sector to lead all accounting operations and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. The role demands strategic oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls in a growing logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with CPA preferred; 3–5 yrs in public accounting OR 5–7 yrs in Transportation/Logistics.
• Minimum 5 yrs of proven leadership in accounting.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and ability to prepare financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations: Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition.
• Coordinate and direct budgeting and forecasting with variance reporting.
• Publish timely monthly financial statements with quality control on transactions and reporting.
• Develop and document accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax filings.
• Review financial reports for GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with management to scale systems and processes for growth.
