Job Summary

The Senior Logistics Clerk is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, tools, and equipment with minimal supervision. This role involves tracking and handling high volume and high-cost materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with asset management policies and procedures. This individual will also manage receipts, issues, transfers, physical inventory, records, and asset closeouts, while compiling records related to the quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, tools, and equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Track and handle high volume and high-cost materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
  • Manage receipts, issues, transfers, physical inventory, records, and asset closeouts.
  • Compile records related to the quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
  • Prepare inventory records and reports, investigating discrepancies in stock counts.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, tracking and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Conduct government property inventory.
  • Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1.
  • Ability to lift and move 35 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the day.
  • Proficiency in using inventory database management systems, including eQuip and SAP.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a US .
  • Associates degree and 1 year of relevant work experience.
    • In lieu of associates degree, High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Advanced computer skills using Excel, SAP and eQuip.
  • Forklift certified.
