Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking a Business Analyst/Data Analytics professional in Warren, MI to support multiple business groups including Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, Dispatch, Billing, and Payroll settlements. You will build dashboards, analyze data trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive operational insights.

The role requires 4+ years in logistics or related fields, strong Excel/BI skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 4+ years experience across transportation, logistics, business analysis, project management, or financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and data visualization tools including Excel, Access, Qlik.
• Strong interpersonal and public speaking abilities; able to lead, present, and participate in conference calls.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP software.
• Knowledge of SQL and APIs/EDI concepts.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Communicate objectives between Stakeholders and Executive teams.
• Validate and clean data to maintain integrity.
• Translate business needs into data requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Identify data trends and provide recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Define and track KPIs with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare project status reports and executive dashboards.
• Coordinate project requirements with IT and business stakeholders.
