Synchron has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Analyst to provide logistics management program support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will provide support to the Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems Program Office (PMS 415) for Navy counter-measure defense systems. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare capabilities and technology.Responsibilities:
- Assist PMS 415L leadership in the Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA) process and other mandated processes required to meet Initial Operating Capability (IOC) and Full Operating Capability (FOC); provide feedback on all assessment findings.
- Review and provide feedback on all acquisition statutory and regulatory documentation required to meet acquisition milestones.
- Participate and support internal and external meetings and briefings. The Contractor shall interface between Program Office and various stakeholders and respond to internal and external inquiries and to identify and resolve program issues and concerns related to all aspects of logistics (spare parts, maintenance, training, supply support etc).
- Develop organizational systems and tracking methods for records, reports and agendas.
- Monitor and maintain government databases.
- Support the development of briefings, white papers, reports, assessments, etc through research, document reviews, and staff coordination.
- Support meetings, action item tracking as well as documentation reviews for the various PMS415 programs and their ILS requirements.
Education and Experience:
- 15 years of logistics analysis, planning and program management support.
- Working knowledge of the Twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements in the DoD Product Support Manager's (PSM) Guidebook; excellent knowledge of sustainment areas is essential.
- Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to meet with program officials and influence actions needed to meet program milestones.
- Experience briefing senior leaders (O-6/GS-15 and above).
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Desired Education and Experience:
- Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is preferred.
Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard.
