Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and ten (10) years related experience OR Master's Degree and eight (8) years related experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Must possess a current and active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. at a time.
• Proven experience supporting VLF systems logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of material planning, production scheduling, and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing the collaboration among fleet support, engineering, and inventory control teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in presenting technical and programmatic updates during stakeholder briefings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform material receipts, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, and inventory control.
• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and coordinate material requirements.
• Represent the customer and program in meetings and teleconferences.
• Generate and coordinate shipments with 100% accuracy of shipping documents.
• Use supply and logistics software to identify NSN for requisitioning purposes.
• Identify vendors/distributors for parts procurement and initiate purchase requests.
• Develop raw material requirements from engineering specifications to meet production schedules.
• Plan and manage all material movements from the warehouse, production area, and purchases.
• Ensure smooth execution and continuous process improvement in logistics support.
• Monitor supply/demand fluctuations and adjust plans to mitigate production risks.
