The Opportunity:

  • Join a dynamic team as an Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide specialized financial management support.
  • Work closely with NOF units and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and compliance
  • Support financial analysis and corrective actions to resolve discrepancies in financial transactions.
  • Leverage expertise in financial systems and reporting tools to drive efficiency and accuracy in all financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer subject matter expertise in financial systems and transactions, providing guidance on complex accounting issues and assisting with system corrections and updates.
  • Provide expert-level analysis and support in identifying, researching, and correcting erroneous financial transactions, including Unmatched Disbursements (UMD), Problem Disbursements (PD), and duplicate/multiple Transaction Item Reporting (TIR). Download and process key financial reports (e.g., DL, UOL, ULO) from financial systems like SMARTS, CFMS, and SABR, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to NOF units.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) certifications and payments, working with the Agency Program Coordinator and Approving Official (AO).
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to financial data retrieval and reporting from integrated financial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and guidelines when resolving financial discrepancies and advising on best practices for transaction accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of key financial documents and reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational standards.




Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must have a current SECRET security clearance.
  • Must have sixteen (16) years of experience in R-Supply, NALCOMIS, Financial Management, and understanding of Navy/Marine Corps aviation on support.


Desired:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or related business discipline is desired.
  • In lieu of a degree, an additional eight (16) years of experience in Aviation Supply, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of Aviation Supply is acceptable

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$53,200 - $111,600 CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
