Job summary

Mayvin is seeking a Senior Logistician in Washington, DC to support FEMA’s CBRN Operations Division. The role focuses on logistics, program management, and technical support throughout the DHS acquisition process to deploy detection equipment to frontline operators.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with extensive acquisitions program experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; six years of acquisitions program support experience (or four years with a Master’s).
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated product support management, leading and conducting logistics management tasks as necessary.
• Support logistical analyses to identify, define, and document acquisition program integrated product support requirements.
• Assist in providing logistics input, review, and comments to acquisition and product support management documents.
• Provide logistical analyses to assist in identifying, recommending, and incorporating logistics requirements into Acquisition documents and writing Lifecycle Sustainment Plans.
• Participate in an established logistics IPT with diverse subject matter experts.
• Performs Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
