Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to handle conventional, FHA, VA and Bond loan processing. You will liaise with loan officers, borrowers and underwriters to ensure complete submissions and on-time closings.

You will monitor the loan file, verify income/assets, run third-party reports, and ensure compliance with investor guidelines and federal regulations. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses preferred.
• Five+ years as a Loan Processor, with conventional and FHA loan experience; VA and Bond loans a plus.
• Ability to build strong relationships with loan officers, underwriting, closing and partners.
• Expert knowledge of mortgage lending processes, guidelines, and investor requirements for various loan types.
• Knowledge of new construction documentation and condominium projects.
• Strong analytical skills to verify documentation and assess risk.

Responsibilities

• Process and pre-underwrite conventional, FHA, VA and Bond loans per standards.
• Coordinate between loan officer, borrower, underwriter and funding to meet timelines.
• Monitor processing cycle time and resolve issues delaying closings.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness; submit to underwriting.
• Coach less experienced processors as needed and use templates for correspondence.
