Job summary

HNE is seeking a Mortgage Processor to support residential loan applications from submission through closing. You will review documents, verify information, and coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and third parties to ensure timely processing.

Responsibilities include processing FHA, Conventional, and VA loans, collecting borrower documents, ordering appraisals and title work, and maintaining accurate loan data in processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and process mortgage loan applications for FHA, Conventional, and VA loan products.
• Collect, review, and verify borrower documentation (income, assets, employment, credit, property).
• Review loan files for completeness and identify missing information.
• Order and follow up on appraisals, title work, insurance, and other loan conditions.
• Analyze loan documents to ensure they meet investor guidelines.
• Enter and maintain accurate loan information in processing systems.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors about loan status.
• Monitor milestones, deadlines, and outstanding documentation to keep files moving.
• Prepare and submit complete loan files for underwriting review.
• Review underwriting conditions and assist with obtaining documentation.
• Ensure loan files are documented and maintained throughout processing.
• Escalate issues and resolve processing questions.
