Job summary

MetaOption, LLC is seeking a Loan Servicing Unit Manager in El Monte, CA. This onsite role leads a residential loan team with some commercial activity, overseeing day-to-day operations, compliance, and performance metrics.

The candidate will drive process improvements, manage risk, and partner with multiple departments to meet regulatory standards and service levels. Strong leadership, communication, and industry knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• 7+ years experience in the loan servicing industry.
• 5+ years management experience.
• Strong knowledge of loan servicing rules, regulations and compliance.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leader with strong project management skills.
• Familiarity with current best practices in the Loan Servicing Industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of the loan operations team(s) including hiring, coaching, training and performance reviews.
• Direct loan operations activities to meet goals and regulatory timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws and internal policies.
• Oversee risk mitigation and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Implement changes to comply with new or changed laws (BSA/BO, TRID, RESPA, SCRA, FACTA, GLBA, FDCPA, USAP, CRA).
• Review processes including third party vendor processing and audits.
• Respond to audit findings and remediate noncompliant areas.
• Process & manage loan purchase and sale activity with Treasury, Accounting, and other lines of business.
• Collaborate with units to reach SLAs and productivity KPIs.
• Provide updates and training on regulatory changes and process improvements.
