Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, The Skunk Works, seeks a candidate for the Low Observables team to advance infrared susceptibility, LO phenomenology and material development. The role spans concept, IRAD/CRAD project execution, modeling, prototype tests, and customer communications, with program reviews as LO advisor.

Required is US citizenship and active DoD clearance; the candidate will work independently and in small teams in a high-paced environment, contributing across R&D and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/Materials/CE/Physics/Optics/Photonics.
• Experience in IR, optics, photonics, CEM, RF, or electromagnetics.
• US citizenship; active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Working in a high-paced environment responsible for infrared susceptibility and LO technology maturation lifecycle from concept to production.
• Participate in Government forums and internal Skunk Works program reviews as an LO signature advisor and IR materials SME.
• Perform scientific experiments and related research to advance LO/IR technologies.
