Job summary

Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking an LMR Engineer at Fort Belvoir, VA, to support DoD-related radio systems. The role requires a SECRET clearance, IAT-II certification, and at least three years of LMR experience.

You will work with government customers on system planning, testing, and maintenance in a secure environment. Responsibilities include programing radios, maintaining documentation, and serving as an SME for cost estimates, SOPs, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Must hold IAT-II certification and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the customer's communications networks and systems.
• Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in LMR environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks in support of the LMR Engineer.
• Monitors and reports system utilization data and interfaces with vendors and installers.
• Assist government in development of LMR Communications, Management, Testing, Key Management and Disaster Recovery planning.
• Serve as SME in support of cost estimates, budget development, and SOPs for enterprise-level directives.
• Maintain and update documentation for LMRs, from as-built documents to drawings and diagrams.
• Evaluate requirements and operations to identify improvements in effectiveness or cost savings.
• Review, install, modify and rehabilitate LMR systems as needed.
• Program and re-program radios and dispatch consoles for day-to-day operations and events.
• Develop radio and console personalities to meet user requirements.
