Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in gas turbine engineering.
• Experience in LM2500 overhaul and repair.
• Ability to mentor engineers and technicians.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document new LM2500 repair/overhaul procedures.
• Design specialized tooling and equipment for new work scopes.
• Establish operational plans and technical standards for expanded service functions.
• Act as primary technical escalation point for LM2500 issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations on engine components.
• Provide expert technical consultation to global service teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians within IPS.
• Collaborate with product lifecycle and design teams to improve service offerings.
