Job summary

Parallel Wireless is seeking a hands-on technical leader to design and operate a secure, local LLM platform inside company-controlled infrastructure. You will drive architecture, model routing, and tooling across engineering teams to enable production-grade AI capabilities.

The role spans applied LLM engineering, platform architecture, data pipelines, security, and production operations, with a focus on trusted grounding, access controls, and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software or ML platform experience.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered systems in production environments.
• Strong API design, data pipelines, and observability fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and roadmap for a secure local LLM platform deployed in Parallel Wireless infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate use cases into measurable requirements.
• Build modular inference and model-gateway layers with stable APIs and flexible model backends.
• Evaluate open-weight models, document provenance, licenses, and security posture.
• Establish end-to-end observability, tracing, latency, and reliability for platform services.
