Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC in Colorado is seeking a Wellness Nurse to join our compassionate team. The role supports residents with daily care, medication management, and safety, with a focus on high-quality, person-centered service. Shifts are Sun-Tues 6pm-6am.

Requirements include LVN/LPN or RN license, CPR certification, and prior senior living experience. You will document care in the electronic health record, coordinate with the wellness director, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license (LVN/LPN preferred)
• Two years' experience in a senior living environment preferred
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Must successfully complete all company specified training programs
• Effective communication skills commensurate with professional standards
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with wellness team, leadership, residents and families
• Able to interact with residents in a warm, helpful manner while maintaining professionalism

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Charge Nurse in absence of Executive Director and Director of Health & Wellness
• Contributes to medication management including orders, administration, storage and documentation
• Maintain clean and safe resident rooms and common areas
• Ensure care partners and medication assistants are trained for residents' conditions
• Assist residents with self-medication or administration of medications
• Document care provided to residents accurately and timely
• Complete resident charting in the electronic health record and assist with assessments
• Manage emergencies and ensure adequate staffing per schedule
