Job summary

AgeWell Senior Living seeks a qualified Nursing Supervisor for Tuscan Gardens of Palm Coast to oversee nursing staff and ensure the highest quality resident care. You will supervise HHAs/CNAs, observe residents, and manage medication administration in accordance with doctor orders and facility policy.

The ideal candidate is an RN licensed in Florida with geriatric care experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice in the state.
• Work experience in the geriatric field.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Professional appearance with empathetic attitude toward seniors.
• CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafter.
• May be featured in social media or community advertising with consent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HHAs, CNAs and facility staff.
• Make daily rounds of Assisted Living and retirement residents when needed.
• Observe and report symptoms to DOW/RN/ED.
• Administer medications and treatments per doctor orders safely.
• Inform DOW when supplies and equipment are needed.
• Order medications from pharmacy when needed.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure high‑quality care.
• Provide first aid when needed.
• Ensure proper nurse/HHA documentation (vital signs, weights, notes, kardex).
• Conduct daily rounds and report conditions to supervision as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of nurse's station, med room and cart.
• Assist in orientation of new staff.
• Complete admissions and discharge evaluations as necessary.
• Check equipment for cleanliness and condition.
• Provide guidance for nursing assistants.
• Promote good relationships with residents, visitors and staff.
