Job summary

Benedictine Living Community invites a Wellness Assistant to help enhance residents' quality of life through social, spiritual, therapeutic, and other wellness activities within our community.

You will assist in developing wellness programming, facilitate daily events to meet residents' needs, collect data for assessments, and help implement the plan of care based on those needs, supporting a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in long term care preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• First Aid Certification required.
• If leading the program, must meet federal regulations for activities programming.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing the community’s wellness programming.
• Facilitates daily events and programming to meet residents’ needs.
• Performs data collection to assist with the residents’ assessment processes.
• Assists in implementing the plan of care based on residents’ needs.

Education
