Savant Senior Living in California is seeking a dedicated Driver to safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities, while ensuring comfort and dignity during every trip. You will interact kindly with residents and help them in and out of vehicles, always prioritizing safety and respectful care.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate trip records, coordinating with staff, and adhering to all traffic laws and company

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Previous experience transporting seniors preferred.
• California regulations knowledge a plus.
• First Aid/ CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate facility vehicles to transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Aid residents getting in and out of vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Interact courteously and compassionately with residents during transportation.
• Maintain open communication with residents and staff, conveying information as needed.
• Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safe operation.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly and follow protocols.
• Maintain accurate trip records of mileage and transport details.
• Complete required documentation related to vehicle maintenance and incidents.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies during transportation.
• Uphold resident privacy and provide a respectful atmosphere during trips.
