Glacier Hills Senior Living Community in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Transportation Specialist (Driver) to safely transport residents to appointments and events. You will assist with transfers, coordinate schedules, and maintain logs while ensuring safety and comfort for older adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical First Responder certification or CENA license preferred.
• Experience working with older adults or in senior living preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, shopping trips, community events, and recreational outings.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including support with walkers and wheelchairs as needed.
• Coordinate daily transportation schedules and appointment logistics.
• Maintain transportation logs, mileage records, and resident destination information.
• Communicate with residents, staff, medical offices, and outside transportation providers.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
• Support resident safety, comfort, and well-being during all transportation services.
