Lifespace Communities is seeking an organized Driver in Austin, TX to transport residents safely and engage with them during trips. A clean driving record and CDL with passenger endorsement are valued; a high school diploma is required and senior-facing experience is preferred.

Pay starts at a per hour range, with opportunities for growth within a mission-driven nonprofit that has served older adults for over 50 years and focuses on meaningful living in vibrant communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid class B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement preferred (CDL may be required for certain vehicles at some communities).
• One-year experience driving for seniors is preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record (no violations).
• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of the precautions necessary to avoid accidents.

Responsabilités

• Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations. Track assigned pick-ups and drop offs to ensure timely service.
• Provide for high level of resident engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles. Report needs for vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, fluid levels, belts, batteries, etc.
