Legacy Healthcare Services in Illinois is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication impairments, and to collaborate with a rehab team to improve residents’ quality of life.

This full-time on-site role offers private treatment sessions, a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, generous benefits, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as SLP or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP treatment programs after full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, functional-based sessions.
• Deliver personalized therapy sessions with ability to tailor approaches.
• Support a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
