Merrill Gardens is hiring a Senior Living Sous Chef in Huntington Beach to support residents with high‑quality meals. You will follow Executive Chef recipes, ensure timely preparation, and maintain sanitation standards. The role includes supervising staff in the Chef’s absence and training new team members.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality food preparation.
• Experience in scratch cooking in a high volume, fine dining setting.
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, etc.

Mansioni

• Prepares all food items following recipes and procedures specified by the Executive Chef.
• Ensures all items are prepared in a timely fashion.
• Uses batch-cooking methods to ensure a fresh product.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Trains new staff using the Dining Services Training Manual.
• Oversees dining service staff during shifts when the Executive Chef is away.
