Job summary

Oakmont of Redding seeks a Sous Chef to lead meal preparation in a senior living community. You will work under the Culinary Services Director to ensure high-quality menus, timely service, and compliance with safety standards, while supervising culinary staff and maintaining cost controls.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in food service/management preferred.
• Experience in a restaurant or similar environment as a Cook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per approved menus and standards.
• Ensure high-quality dining experience for residents, families, and visitors.
• Maintain sanitary standards and proper food storage and inventory.

Education
