Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a cook to prepare and cook meals for residents under the supervision of the Executive Chef and Food Service Director. You will help with kitchen opening/closing, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and support menu planning to ensure quality meals within cost guidelines.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent, or 6–12 months related experience.
• Food service experience in hospitality, country club, or senior living industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents under supervision of Executive Chef & Food Service Director.
• Take charge of kitchen opening, closing and side duties as directed.
• Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and safety standards on duty.
• Promote a safe and sanitary environment and reduce hazards.
• Assist in planning, reviewing, and revising menus and recipes to meet costs and quality standards.
• Help supervise and assist staff in production of all menu items.
