Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a full-time food service professional to prepare meals using planned recipes and staff the food line during meals. The role requires ensuring safety and sanitation and delivering high-quality service to residents and guests.

Salary starts at $21 per hour with alternating weekends. Candidates should have experience in production cooking, English communication, and the ability to obtain required licenses; basic computer skills are needed

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets.
• Clear and effective English communication.
• Willing to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; Excel and Word proficiency.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all food using the daily planner and standard recipes.
• Work the food line during mealtimes.
• Ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are met in food and kitchen areas.
• Respond quickly to resident and guest needs and requests.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers.
