Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents in a senior living community using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. You will establish treatment goals and implement individualized programs based on full clinical evaluations.

You will deliver private sessions, coordinate with a care team, and participate in clinical conferences to align plans of care with residents׳ needs and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before start date.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
• Minimum commitment of 8 hours per month to maintain active employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluations.
• Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients' plans of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one through individualized private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach.
• Deliver personalized rehabilitative care to senior living community residents to improve their quality of life.
