Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with communication, swallowing and cognitive disorders at Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD. You will work with physicians, families and staff to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• MD license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition and voice therapy screenings and treatments.
• Develop, monitor and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated resident-centered care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing per regulatory and company standards.
• Educate residents, families and staff to support therapy goals.
