Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Carthage seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our care team in Carthage, MO. You will provide speech-language pathology services to residents, including assessment, treatment, and consultation.

Work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care that promote communication, cognition, and swallowing skills, and coordinate with families and other health professionals to ensure seamless care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' communication, cognition, and swallowing skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' goals and needs
• Provide speech-language therapy services to residents, including direct treatment and consultation
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident assessments, treatment, and progress
• Participate in staff development and education programs to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
