Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Driver to join our team in Peabody, Massachusetts. This full-time role runs 11:30am–9:30pm, alternating days, transporting residents, staff and visitors within our gated retirement community.

You will operate non-CDL buses, vans and sedans with wheelchair ramps, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, keep vehicles clean, log usage and stay compliant with DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license required.
• DOT Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate required before starting, maintained during employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to drive.
• Ability to operate vehicles with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Road safety and passenger assistance will be routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents, staff, and visitors to scheduled and unscheduled appointments.
• Operate non-CDL passenger buses, vans, and sedans with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for use, including pre- and post-trip inspections and refueling.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and log vehicle usage.
