Job summary

Freedom Village Bradenton is seeking a PRN CDL- Shuttle Driver to transport residents to activities, appointments and events in a timely and safe manner. The role requires verifying vehicle safety, maintaining cleanliness, and accurately recording mileage and attendance during each trip.

Responsibilities include keeping vehicles well-maintained, communicating with supervisors about repairs, and participating in scheduled in-service trainings. CPR, AED and First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities and appointments.
• Complete a safety check of the applicable vehicle before transporting residents.
• Accurately records vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
• Transport vehicle(s) to service locations for routine preventive maintenance.
• Notify supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Must be CPR, AED and First Aid certified.
• Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
