Freedom Village Bradenton is seeking a Full-Time CDL- Shuttle Driver to transport residents to activities and medical appointments, ensuring safety and reliable service.

The role requires a CDL A, valid Driver's License, Passenger Endorsement, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. You will perform vehicle safety checks, maintain cleanliness, and coordinate with staff to support resident care.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Must communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Must maintain a courteous attitude with residents.
• Driver's license, passenger endorsement, and CDL A are required.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers residents to activities and appointments.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles before transporting residents.
• Record vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
• Transport vehicles to service locations for routine maintenance as scheduled.
• Notify supervisor of repairs or vehicle malfunctions or resident concerns.
• Attend trainings and education sessions as assigned.
• Complete administration errands and keep equipment in proper condition.
• Prioritize work as directed by supervisor.
