Job summary

The Server position at Oakmont Management Group's SANTIANNA community in California seeks a friendly, attentive server to deliver meals to residents, families, and visitors. You will follow etiquette, take orders accurately in the POS, and help maintain a welcoming dining environment that reflects our mission and values.

Experience is welcome but training is provided; you must be at least 16 with a work permit and pass health and background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; training will be provided.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, residents and families.
• Background check and health screening tests including TB tests are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately take residents’ and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down tables as needed.
• Follow proper serving etiquette and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe and secure dining area for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
