Job summary

Mount Pleasant Home, a HumanGood community in Jamaica Plain, MA, is seeking a Waitstaff/Server for per diem shifts. You will set up, take orders, and serve residents and guests with gracious, timely service.

Candidates should have prior food service experience; ServSafe/food handler certification preferred; availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; teens may apply where allowed. You’ll have opportunities to pick up extra hours and grow with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience.
• Prior experience working with seniors (preferred).
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification (preferred).
• Availability that might include evenings, weekends, & holidays.
• Teens are welcome to apply! (Local regulations/restrictions may apply).
• Able to pick up extra hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clear, clean and reset the dining room.
• Take menu orders and serve residents and guests in a timely and gracious manner.
• Provide quality customer service to residents and guests.
