Solera Senior Living in Evanston is seeking a Server to create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. You will provide attentive, courteous service while upholding cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality standards.

Previous serving experience is preferred but not required; strong communication and teamwork are valued. We offer competitive benefits and an inclusive, supportive team focused on compassionate care for seniors.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and service-oriented.
• Excellent customer service attitude.
• Must receive the annual Flu vaccine (excluding medical or religious exemptions).

Responsibilities

• Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner
• Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service
• Serve room trays as needed
• Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Adhere to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
• Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
• Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing as needed
• Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
• Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy and procedure
