Job summary

The Willows at Raleigh is seeking a friendly Server to deliver attentive dining service to residents in a part-time capacity. You will help create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Requirements include strong communication skills, dependable service, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Dependable, service-oriented, and focused on great guest experiences.

• Annual Flu vaccine is required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner.
• Set and reset tables for upcoming meals.
• Deliver room trays as needed and maintain cleanliness.
• Uphold sanitation, appearance, and hospitality standards.
• Assist with dishwashing and clearing to ensure smooth service.
• Provide accurate menu information and friendly guest interactions.
• Support adherence to dietary requirements and residents' preferences.
• Maintain organized workstations and take orders as needed.
• Promote a welcoming dining atmosphere for residents and guests.

Server Position Summary

The Server plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. The Server is responsible for providing attentive, courteous service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.

Shifts available: Part-time PM, Weekends

Server Responsibilities include:

• Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner
• Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service
• Serve room trays as needed
• Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Adhere to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
• Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
• Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing as needed
• Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
• Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy and procedure

Server Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required
